PORTUGUESE FOR FOREIGNERS
In partnership with Human Resources and Management of Expatriates, BICS develops Portuguese Language Courses, mainly for foreigners who come to work in Brazil, whether executives with multinational companies or executives/entrepreneurs coming to develop business with companies in Brazil.
To attend the diverse profiles and needs, the BICS courses give emphasis to communication in Portuguese and are tailor-made for students who arrive with or without previous knowledge of the language, even for those with more demanding needs, such as understanding the culture, politics and Brazilian history better in order to facilitate their professional, social and cultural activities. There are also individual courses dealing with business and corporative culture in Brazil – Portuguese for Business.
For native Spanish speakers (from Latin America/Spain) we have developed a quicker method, given the similarities between the two languages which permits students greater learning agility.
At present BICS attends students who come from various parts of the world, such as: Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Holland, Poland, Thailand, South África, India, Ireland and the USA.
Portuguese Classes for Foreigners – focusing on real-life situations
The principal BICS objective in these classes is not to just involve the student in the Portuguese language but also in the culture, habits and local customs, making it easier learning and adapting to the country. To achieve this, classes will not be restricted to the classroom.
