Volunteer Work
The volunteer program allows you to add many new experiences to your life, and that of those you will be helping.
A combination of volunteer work plus lessons in the local language, will bring personal growth and a unique opportunity to live and communicate with people and cultures from other countries.
Argentina - Buenos Aires
Project: Teaching English to needy communities
The Buenos Aires volunteer program is related with teaching English to needy communities that really need English teachers. In most of the cases you will be responsible for elaborating your classes according to the needs of the students, and teach them with patience, care and understanding.
In other cases, the volunteer may assist a teacher or work in an office, helping find jobs for people of the community.
You can help students with their homework, organize games and help in administrative areas.
Chile - Santiago
Infant Care Project
The Voluntary Program in Santiago involves care and respect for needy children that were abandoned by their parents and anxiously wait for a family to adopt them.
Your work will be to feed, bathe, change, play with and give much attention to each child that deserves and calls out for care.
To complement the volunteer program, classes of local languages are integrated to the Bridge Volunteer Program. This will help you communicate with the people you are helping, enriching your experience and furthering your cultural understanding.
The classes are given so that the volunteer can feel more comfortable with the new day to day routine.
